    Short Biography

I’m interested in discovering and exploring underlying genetic components related to psychiatric and mood disorders. I majored in biology in my undergraduate career, but after exploring some psychology classes, I added neuroscience as a second major in the latter half of my third year to delve deeper into the mechanics behind some of the disorders I was learning about. Now in the Nedivi lab I’m thankful to be able to join and work with two post-doctoral fellows in their research regarding the link between genetic susceptibilities to bipolar disorder and CPG2 expression and studying potential molecular targets of CPG15-mediated PSD95 recruitment in their role for spine stabilization.

Outside of the lab I enjoy reading, running, playing games with friends, and social dancing.
