Short Biography

I’m interested in structural synaptic plasticity, specifically the development of inhibitory synapses onto cortical pyramidal neurons. In my time in the Nedivi lab as a technician, I worked with Dr. Boivin on creating a developmental timeline of inhibitory innervation of the primary visual cortex. As a graduate student I plan on continuing my work on plasticity of inhibitory synapses onto pyramidal neurons, and to additionally functionally characterize the same neurons based on visual input.

Outside of lab I enjoy cooking, reading, and spending time outside with my poodle, Soma.
