B.S. in Medical and Molecular Biology, MCPHS University

I was born in Seoul, South Korea, and came to the United States in 2010. I majored in Pharmacy during the first two years of my undergraduate education, but I changed my major to molecular biology / pre-med due to my interest in medicine and research. My research experience during my undergraduate years was focused on investigating Staphylococcus aureus toxins and their ability to produce itch during infection. In the Nedivi lab, I will utilize advanced MAP (Magnified Analysis of Proteome) to explore excitatory and inhibitory neural circuits.
